Blank Park Zoo has both indoor and outdoor facilities that can accommodate groups from 5 to 500! From early morning meetings to renting the entire Zoo after hours, we can guarantee a unique event experience at Iowa’s Wildest Adventure.

Pavilion The Pavilion is an outdoor, covered space that can hold up to 250 people. Adjacent to the eagle exhibit, the Pavilion is available April-October.
Discovery Center Room With an entire wall made of windows, the Discovery Center Room provides unbeatable views of our indoor Discovery Center exhibit, including a waterfall, palm trees, monkeys and birds in flight. This room can hold approximately 150 people for a seated dinner, but can be broken down into three separate spaces for smaller events.
Discovery Center Exhibit & Aquarium  After the Zoo closes, the indoor Discovery Center exhibit and aquarium can be rented exclusively for your guests until 8:00 p.m. This is a very popular location for unique cocktail hours.
Blank Park Zoo After Hours The entire Zoo is available to be rented exclusively for your event after regular hours. Outdoor exhibits can stay open until 7:00 p.m., the indoor exhibit until 8:00 p.m., and the train can be rented to give your guests a ride around the grounds.
ZooPlex The ZooPlex is the largest private event facility at Blank Park Zoo. It can hold up to 600 people.
Education Animals Blank Park Zoo’s education department is home to many animals that can be presented during  your event. Guests will have the opportunity to touch and take photos of the animals.
