Annual Campaign:  Keeping the Wonder Alive

Your support of the annual campaign (or annual operations) of the Blank Park Zoo is critical.  Did you know there are 125 different animal species and 1,676 animal specimens living at the Zoo?  Do you know it costs over $87,000 a year to feed these animals?  Did you know that the Zoo needs your help?

Since the beginning, the Zoo has relied on the support of generous donors like you. 

You can make a gift today to the Blank Park Zoo by:

     Calling the Development Office at 515-323-8389.

• You can ask for a pledge form to be sent to you
• You can charge your gift to your Visa or MasterCard

The Zoo’s fiscal year is November 1-October 31. 

Habitat Heroes

Each year many generous individuals and corporations support the annual operations of the Blank Park Zoo.  Corporations that have committed significant dollars to the Zoo are recognized as Habitat Heroes.

Matching Gifts

Many large companies match gifts made by individuals to the Blank Park Zoo.  Most matching gift companies match your gift dollar for dollar, thus doubling your support of the Zoo.  A few companies match 3 to 1, therefore, tripling your support.

Simply check with your human resources office to find out if your employer will match your contribution.  Fill out the form and send it in with your contribution to the Zoo.  The Development Office handles the rest.  It’s that simple!
