Mark your calendar for the 19th annual Night Eyes! Be sure to join us this October for the sweetest event in Central Iowa...Night Eyes! This merry, not scary, Halloween fundraising festival invites children and adults to dress in their favorite costume and trick or treat through the zoo as it is transformed into a world of lights, castles, storybook characters and fun! Guests will love riding the Train, scooting down Scarecrow Lane, and dancing in the Pumpkin Patch. Guests are encouraged to dress in costumes, but make sure they are weather appropriate because this is an outdoor event. Night Eyes will be held rain or shine.

Dates:
October 15 - 18 & 22 - 25, 2009

Hours:
Thursdays & Fridays from 5:30 pm to 8 pm
Saturdays & Sundays from 1 pm to 8 pm

Tickets:
Tickets at the door will be $5 and $4 for Zoo Members. Children under one are free.

Special Entertainment:
Trick-or-treaters should keep an eye out for Curious George and Clifford! Guests won't want to miss getting their picture taken with Herky between 2 & 3 pm on October 17! Other special guests will include jugglers, clowns and much more! Princesses from Little Princess Parties will be visiting with guests throughout the afternoons of October 17 & 24. Plus kids won't want to miss two surprise guests on the evenings of October 17 & 24. Support for some of the special entertainment has been provided by the Iowa Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts.
