Help Iowa Wildlife Rehabilitators - Blank Park Zoo

Bookmark and Share Help Iowa Wildlife Rehabilitators

Blank Park Zoo is often called when an injured or orphaned animal is discovered. As we don't have resources to manage these animals, we defer to the skilled and knowledgeable wildlife rehabilitators throughout the state. These rehabilitators take on the responsibility of caring for the many animals in need, throughout the year.

Blank Park Zoo Conservation Committee would like to aid such organizations and individuals through dispersing information, collecting needed items, and also distributing items to those in need. As such, we would like to inform our supporters of easy ways to help.

Do you knit or crochet?
If so, you can supply rehabilitators throughout the state with little nests for all the babies in need.

Do you sew?
If so, you can help Iowa wildlife rehabilitator, Vera Blevins. Blevins is in need of roosting pouches for the Colonial bats she rehabilitates.
