Wildlife Conservation Series - Dr. Amy Dickman

Blank Park Zoo is excited to present the 2013 Conservation Series. With the Zoo’s new exhibit – Jaama Kwa ‘Connection to’ Africa – opening this spring, each evening will feature a speaker focused on the conservation of a majestic African animal. Please plan to join us for light appetizers during a social from 6:00 to 7:00 pm with the presentation beginning at 7:00 pm.

Dr. Dickman is the Kaplan Senior Research Fellow in Felid Conservation at Oxford University, and has over 15 years of experience working on large carnivores in Africa, specializing in big cats. In 2011, she was awarded the Rabinowitz-Kaplan Prize for the Next Generation in Wild Cat Conservation.
