Position Purpose

Maintain Blank Park Zoo information technology systems. Assist staff with troubleshooting computer problems and help staff with A/V needs. Implement and coordinate onboarding and training of Blank Park Zoo IT systems. Help with other of the IT and marketing departments. Assists in other duties as assigned by the CMO/IT Director.

Essential Functions

• Provide tech support and basic computer training to Zoo staff members and select onsite zoo vendors.
• Update PCs, servers and other computerized devices as needed.
• Advise, suggest and implement best practices regarding security, PCI, password creation and retention, etc.
• Create, manage and terminate user accounts as directed.
• Advise, suggest and implement solutions regarding Blank Park Zoo’s information technology needs.
• Provide AV support as needed for Blank Park Zoo’s public and private events
• Advise, suggest and implement policy solutions regarding Blank Park Zoo’s computer system
• Create documentation of service calls and implementations,
• Create training guides and training presentations
• Support Blank Park Zoo’s point of sales systems
• Recommend and implement a program inventory of hardware/software replacement
