Supervisor: Director of Events
Blank Park Zoo is looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, self-starter who is highly motivated to assist with event execution. The Part-Time Events Coordinator is responsible for providing direct support to the events team. The individual will work in conjunction with the Rental and Sales Coordinator and Special Events Coordinators to oversee the Zoo rental and event programs. This position will spend the majority of their time on-site at events.

Completion of Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university preferred, with major course work in public relations, communications, sales, event management, or related field. Minimum of 2 years experience in customer relations and/or event sales required.
Ability to communicate effectively to all ages of clients, visitors and staff, both verbally and written
Excellent computer business skills required

Ability to bend, twist, lift 50 pounds
Ability to walk on uneven surfaces such as hills, snow, ice, grass, mud, etc.
