Zoo Juniors and Zoo Chefs are classes geared toward children age 5-6 years with their favorite adult. During these classes we invite children and parents to join your favorite furry, feathery, slimy and fuzzy animal friends in exciting and hands-on adventures.
Registration and prepayment required. For non-members, class cost includes Zoo admission for child and accompanying adult.

Similar in structure and content to Zoo Tots, during Zoo Juniors we will read books, make crafts, enjoy visits from live animals and participate in educational activities and explore the zoo.
Zoo Juniors classes take place in the Bankers Trust Learning Center located in the center of the Zoo.

Similar in structure/content to Zoo Tots Cooking, during Zoo Chefs you and your child will make a creative, tasty treat, hear stories, make crafts, and enjoy visits from live animals!
Zoo Tots Cooking classes take place in the Macaw Café located on the lower lever of the Discovery Center or in the Discovery Center Rooms located at the main entrance of the zoo.

Blank Park Zoo hours are 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. For after-hours classes, Zoo staff will greet you at admissions approximately five minutes prior to the start of class.
All sales are final. If you are unable to attend a class, you can transfer to an open class during the current season. To avoid rescheduling fees, contact the Education Office prior to the originally scheduled class. No refunds will be offered unless classes are cancelled by the Zoo.
