Registration available for non-members beginning January 25.
Pre-K: Pre-k camps are half day camps for children ages 3-4 years.
Kindergarten: Kindergarten camps are half or full day camps for children ages 5-6 years who will be entering Kindergarten in fall 2021
Grade 1: Grade 1 camps are full day camps for children entering grades 1 in fall 2021
Grade 2: Grade 2 camps are full day camps for children entering grade 2 in fall 2021
Grade 3-4: Grade 3-4 camps are full day camps for children entering grades 3 or 4 in fall 2021
Grade 5-6: Grade 5-6 camps are full day camps for children entering grades 5 or 6 in fall 2021
Grade 7: Grade 7 camps are full day camps for children entering grade 7 in fall 2021
It is important to us that your child receives the best experience. As such, we hope that you will help us by honoring our grade level guidelines. Each camp is for children entering that grade level in the fall of 2021. Your child MUST be fully potty-trained to be a part of camp.
Drop-off for each camp begins at 8:45 am. Please follow drop off markers.
For the safety of your children, we will only release your child to the person/s you list during registration. If there are emergencies/last-minute changes, please notify educators at drop-off.
Please honor our pick-up times:
Half day: 11:30 am
Full day: 4:00 pm
After care: Before 5:30 pm
*Children in full day camps who are not picked up by 4:15 pm will go to after care and parents will be charged. A $5 late fee will be charge for every 15 minutes after 5:30 pm.
Weekly lunches, weekly before/after care, and t-shirts can all be purchased through your online registration or at camp drop-off. If you would like to purchase before/after care or lunches for individual days of the week, you can do so at drop-off at Admissions or by calling 515-974-2553 (purchases for individual week days of camp are not available online).Click here for more information about lunch, snack, before/after care and t-shirts.
If you are bringing any medication to camp with your child (including rescue inhalers and EpiPens), we ask that you please adhere to the following guidelines:
Pre-registration is required for all camps. After your registration is processed, a confirmation email will be sent (please check your spam folder). Your registration is not confirmed until you receive this confirmation. Call 515-974-2588 if a confirmation email is not received.
If a cancellation is necessary more than two weeks out from the camp start date, Blank Park Zoo will grant a refund for the registration amount minus a $50 processing fee. Any cancellations requested within two weeks of the camp start date will not receive a refund (if the child is unable to attend, please consider your payment a tax-deductible donation at this time). Switching to a different week of camp is an option but depends on availability and may only be done once.
