Due to Covid-19, for the safety of our animals, guests, and staff, we have decided not to travel offsite until August 1st, 2020. If you would like to book a virtual program for the summer, please click here to check out our virtual options.

Animal Ambassador Program
Bring a wild experience to your facility with 4 of the zoo’s animal ambassadors! An educator will talk to your crowd of all ages to teach them some of the fun things that make the animals unique as a species and as an individual!
Have you met Ruby the Reading Red Panda, yet? Ruby is a plush red panda who loves to read! Join Ruby for one of her favorite stories and meet 3 live animal friends from the Blank Park Zoo during this fun and interactive program geared toward 2-5 year olds! Follow Ruby on Facebook to see what new books she has and what animal friends she is meeting next!
Facts or Fantasy
Turn your library into the hottest new Game Show of the summer! Join a Blank Park Zoo Educator as we explore some unbelievable facts about real world animals in comparison to some mythical beasts that seem too good to be true! What’s more believable, a frog that can freeze almost completely solid and thaw back to life or a bird that can set itself on fire and be reborn? Join us to find out on Facts or Fantasy!
For more information, or to book your program, please contact Jared Sunds at 515-974-2559 or email@example.com. Reservations are required at least 3 weeks in advance.
* We encourage facilities in the same area to coordinate dates and times so the mileage charge can be split. We are happy to visit up to 3 facilities on a trip!
Many of the animals that travel as part of these educational programs are small, domesticated animals. These animals travel well and have high stress thresholds in travel and presentation situations. We cannot guarantee which animals will visit your library, but will do our best to bring you new and different ones each year.
Cancellations within 3 weeks of the programs date will still be charged 50% of the program cost
