Blank Park Zoo's Wild Lights Festival Presented by MidAmerican Energy Company -
April 1-May 29 (nightly, Wednesday – Sunday plus Memorial Day)
Blank Park Zoo's Wild Lights Festival presented by MidAmerican Energy Company will feature 50 handcrafted, larger-than-life, illuminated Asian lanterns. This year's festival features underwater wildlife, giant insects, mythical creatures and endangered animals. Immerse your family in a magical night of light and culture in this visually stunning festival.
Zoo Brew-
Wednesdays in June, July (excluding July 5, 2023) and the first two Wednesdays in August
The camels aren’t the only ones celebrating HUMP DAY! On select Wednesdays in the summer, the Zoo comes to life after hours for those 21 and over. This popular fundraising event features a variety of live music, summer brews and a stroller-free environment to see the animals!

DISCOVER The WILD Days-
Throughout the year
Join us each month from 10:00 - 2:00 pm, to explore Blank Park Zoo's conservation priorities. DISCOVER the WILD days will allow you to Discover, Connect and Take Action for the animal in our care, the conservation organization we support, an understanding of what we do at the zoo to care for the animal, and how AZA organizations work together for the survival of the species.
