Family Fun Night

The Zoo is staying open late! Bring the whole family out to Blank Park Zoo Friday night for fun summer activities, including crafts, a scavenger hunt, and a watermelon eating contest, all while enjoying the animals and their watermelon enrichment after hours.

Watermelon Eating Contest Rules

• Each child will have one slice of watermelon
• Each child can only compete once
• If your child wins their heat, your family will be submitted into the drawing for a Blank Park Zoo prize package
• Watermelon contest will run from 5:30 – 8:00 PM or until we run out of watermelon
• The Blank Park Zoo prize package winner will be drawn Monday, July 1 and contacted by the BPZ events team
