Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with the party animals at Blank Park Zoo! This low-capacity, socially-distanced event is the perfect way to change out of your sweatpants, leave the house and enjoy a kids-free night out.
You will enjoy indoor/outdoor viewing of animals, keeper chats, cold drinks, delicious food from Street Eats DSM, St. Patrick’s Day themed trivia and live music from South of Society. This may be the most fun we’ve all had since 2019!
To maintain social distance, tickets are extremely limited. Get yours NOW before they sell out! Each ticket includes one green beer. Tickets will not be available at the door.
Tickets are available for $30 for members & $35 for non-members. Click here to purchase tickets.
Doors open at 4:30 pm. Guests are welcome to grab a drink, roam the Zoo, enjoy learning about their favorite animals, and see animals both inside and outside.
Street Eats DSM will begin serving at 5:30pm in front of the Holmes Foster Event Center.
Trivia takes place in the Discovery Center at 5:15pm and 6:00pm with three categories: St. Patrick's Day History, Green Initiatives at Blank Park Zoo, and Tortoises/Turtles. Trivia is free to play and top teams will be awarded prizes!
South of Society will begin rocking out at 6:30pm. At this time, the animals will go off exhibit and all guests will stay in the Holmes Foster Event Center area.
Masks are required at all times, unless you are actively eating or drinking. Tables inside the Event Center will be spaced out to maintain 6 feet between groups.
Red-heads (whether it’s natural, dyed or a wig!) will receive a free koozie. We’ll have a “Best Dressed” competition, so dust off your kilt, shamrocks and head-to-toe green grab for a chance to win a prize!
This event is 21+. Must present a valid photo ID at the door. Event is rain or shine.
