Submit your best photo for the 2024 Night Eyes Costume Contest. A group of judges from Blank Park Zoo will determine the top entries. The top entries will then be posted on the website and on social media for the public to vote for the winners. One grand prize will be awarded for each week of Night Eyes.
The submission link will be posted the week of the event. Entries for the first weekend (10/17 - 10/20) must be submitted by 9 a.m. on October 21, 2024. Entries for the second weekend (10/24 - 10/27) must be submitted by 9 a.m. on October 28, 2024.

Contest Rules:
No purchase necessary. Contest Sponsor: Blank Park Zoo, 7401 SW 9th St, Des Moines, IA 50315. Number of total winners: Two (2 grand prize winners.) Prize: Behind the scenes tour for four of winner's choosing, age restrictions apply. Value of grand prize: Approximately $400 or less.
To enter, submit photo and application located at www.blankparkzoo.com. A group of judges from Blank Park Zoo will determine the top entries that will be posted on our website and social media sites and ask the public to vote for the grand prize winner.
This contest is open to all ages, however if you are under age 18, your parents must enter the contest for anyone under the age of 18. You must be the copyright owner of the image. By entering, you agree that you give Blank Park Zoo an irrevocable, world-wide license to use the image. All submissions to the contest can be used for promotional and marketing purposes by Blank Park Zoo. These must be family-friendly images suitable for all audiences. Blank Park Zoo reserves the right to remove any submissions for any reason or not qualify them for a final vote. Multiple submissions per person are allowed but only one will be in the top five. The winner will be chosen by the vote of visitors to Blank Park Zoo’s website and/or social media pages. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received and the votes of the public on winners. In the event of a tie or dispute, Blank Park Zoo and / or its representative reserves the right to name a winner and its choice will be final. Blank Park Zoo will administer the contest and be the final judge in event of tie or other issue that may arise. Blank Park Zoo’s decision will be the final decision in any event.
You need not be present to win. Winner will be notified by email or postal letter.
Employees, former employees, contractors and immediate family members of employees and contractors of Blank Park Zoo are not eligible to enter.
