School Group Admission

School group admission rates only apply when student admission is requested. Formal education facilities, youth groups, scout groups, day cares, and the like, qualify for this pricing. Reservations are required at least 2 weeks advance to receive a school discount.

School group admission:

• Students - $6
• Chaperones - 1 free for every 10 students, $12 for additional chaperones being paid by the school, youth group, scout group, or day care.
• Chaperones not included on the school/youth group bill will need to pay full admissions pricing. Chaperones with a Zoo membership must get their membership scanned before entering with the group.

Large Group Admission

Discounted tickets for large groups of 15 or more paying guests are available for purchase online at least 24 hours in advance. These tickets are non-refundable and need to be brought to admissions when you arrive at the Zoo.

Regular admission rates will apply to groups with less than 15 paying guests. If you have additional questions, please contact education@blankparkzoo.org.

Large Group Admission:

• Children (1 year and under): Free
• Children (2 - 12 years): $10.00
• Adults (13 - 64 years): $16.00
• Seniors (65+ years): $14.00

Zoo Member Policy

Zoo memberships are not valid for group visits. Memberships were designed for an individual, couple or family experience and not built for group usage. Because we serve a large volume of groups each year, it is necessary to serve groups efficiently in order to provide good customer service for all visitors.

Educational Add-ons for School Group Visits

Ambassador Animal Programs:

Ambassador Animal Programs are private programs for up to 50 people. Cost is $75 per program and lasts half an hour.

• Programs must be scheduled 2 weeks prior to your visit
• Program times are 10:30, 11:30, 12:30 or 1:30
• Groups over 50 must request multiple programs

Vet Clinic Tours:

Vet Clinic Tours are private behind the scenes tours of our Animal Health Center for up to 15 people. These tours are best suited for High School students. Cost is $100 per tour and lasts half an hour.

• Programs must be scheduled 4 weeks prior to your visit
• Tour times are determined by vet staff availability

Career Panels:

Career Panels are an opportunity for students to engage with different Zoo staff and explore the different career options available at a Zoo. Career panels are best suited for Middle School and High School students. Cost is $100 and lasts half an hour.

• Programs must be scheduled 4 weeks prior to your visit
• Panel times are 11:00 or 1:00
