In celebration of the Zoo’s 50th Anniversary in 2016, we created an Anniversary Pathway.
This pathway has increased traffic and the safety flow for our guests and staff and connects the paths of Jamaa Kwa Africa to the boardwalk. The path leads to the all-season viewing Giraffe Barn Expansion and education outlook, and also allows for a complete boardwalk circle to view the endangered black rhinoceros and reticulated giraffe.
You have the opportunity to purchase a commemorative plaque that will be displayed along the pathway for donor recognition as well as a way for Zoo-goers to permanently share their memories.
