Volunteers are trained to promote the Zoo’s conservation program and engage with guests to tell the stories about the animals in our care. Must have an outgoing personality, enjoy interacting with people of all ages, and have some knowledge or willingness to learn about nature/animals/ecology. Volunteers will need to attend three training sessions.
Join our early childhood team to help provide educational, enriching and fun experiences at Blank Park Zoo. Volunteers will work with and assist the education department during education classes, for children of all ages. Education staff will lead the classes; volunteers may help greet participants, support participants during learning activities and crafts, and help keep supplies in order.
